Being Present - 5 tips to keep you grounded in the now

There is one time & place we can always have control over & that is the “present” moment.

But how many of us spend large swaths of the day in memory land either revisiting the good or often repeating old conflicts & negative thoughts? Loads right? Especially in midlife ~ we have boatloads of memories to pull up from the archives.

So here are a few ideas to keep you grounded in the now:

🔸Focus on single tasks instead of multiple tasks during the day. Fully engage in one task & observe how much more present you will feel.

🔸 Go slow ~ approach your day in a calm & relaxed pace. Some tasks may take longer but your focus will be sharper & your stress lower.

🔸 Cut the chatter when you first wake up ~ don’t touch your phone, watch YouTube or check IG. Stay present & connected to your positivity when you wake up & watch how much more cleaner & lighter you will feel.

🔸 Finally once you are more aware of your mind chatter tell your mind “no,no,no” when you start to drift off & bring yourself back to the present.

Stay in the present, this is where you have the most control...& roar ~ let the world hear you 🌞
