Value Driven Mindset
Having a values-driven mindset requires deep introspection and a desire to be the best version of yourself even if it means challenging your current mindset and identifying your blind spots
A values-driven mindset is based on the idea that your values drive your decisions, actions and thoughts
Having this mindset is essential if you want to be successful in your personal and professional life
Think of your values as your foundational beliefs and principles that matter the most to you - normally you would pick up your values from your family, life experiences, culture and the people you admire - like integrity, sustainability, community, education, kindness etc…
Ultimately your values help you decide how you want to show up in the world!
When you live by your values it means you are consistently acting with integrity and making decisions based on what you stand for even if it means you are standing alone - which happens and that is ok
When we pause and take stock of the value we offer the world and write these things down, we can cultivate and grow a value mindset to help us thrive with purpose
Here are 10 characteristics of a person with a values-driven mindset: You Will Have:

Reflecting on the value you offer others:
On the flip side when we want to know if we are valued you can look at:
Seeing yourself as others do - don’t focus on performance metrics but rather dig into what is inside and how you show up to others - it can be very humbling…
Reviewing your self-talk - recognize you have negative self-talk and deliberately stop yourself when you hear it
Challenging your inner critic - identifying your negative self talk comes first and then you can call out your crappy Judge every time he appears - dig in and deeply examine your critic and then let it go and change the narrative - you are in control - not your Judge
It is ok to savour recognition from others - hear the good things others say about you and embrace them but do not lean too heavily on needing praise - just recognize your true value and be selfless
Do the things you love - you will show up as your bright and sparkly self when you pursue the things you enjoy
Spend time with those that build you up not pull you down
Help others - understanding your value can be seen in how you selflessly help others - the more you give the more you will receive
Be brave - be wholehearted - show up fully in your life - share your interests and skills, be passionate
Above all - help yourself and others and remember, you have VALUE, we all do! You can cultivate an incredible value mindset so get to it lady! ;]
