Being Bold in Midlife

Rebel Affirmation

"I embrace my authentic self and step boldly into new adventures."

My Rebel Musing

Do you think of yourself as a bold person?

What does being bold even mean?

I like to think of being bold as a willingness to take risks and act confidently, even in the face of uncertainty or potential criticism - this can be a challenge for us when we hit midlife as this also involves confronting our fears and stepping beyond our comfort zone to pursue new goals and aspirations.

I know for certain that before becoming a mama I never thought of risks as being scary - I saw them as awesome challenges to check out - but for the past 20 years I would say I am not as bold as I once was and this got me thinking about why and how I can tweak this.

Boldness is characterized by courage, confidence, and a readiness to embrace new challenges, which means believing in your ability to achieve what may seem impossible and persevering despite obstacles or doubts.

Midlife seems to be all about transitions and evolutions and I can feel it deep in my soul that my good ole fearless and daring spirit is itching to come out to play again soon.

So where are you on the ‘boldness’ meter? Do you have a willingness to start taking risks again? Do you have the confidence to pursue your goals despite potential challenges? Do you even know what goals you want to pursue? Heck - I am still outlining new goals to work towards so if you want to dig into this with me I am an email away rani@livearebellife.com

Hugs, Rani xoxo
