12 Questions to help you move forward
Feeling stuck is a terrible feeling and can keep you in a dark place for longer than necessary. We tend to think of getting unstuck in terms of action and doing. While this is important, there’s another piece we need to take into account too: our identity.
We have all been there, feeling stuck and not sure how to push forward. Feeling stuck can be more of a general sensation than a specific ailment so asking yourself 'why' may not always clear a path to forward movement.
Here are some additional questions you can ask your beautiful 'self' - whip out your journal or mull them over in your head and check in with your 'self' to see how you feel:
🌟 What do I know to be true?
🌟 What is “good enough?”
🌟 What do I really want, and how might I be stopping myself from getting that?
🌟 What is the number one thing that, if I started doing it, would have the biggest positive impact on my life?
🌟 What are my guiding values?
🌟 Do I have any regrets? Grant yourself some grace if you do.
🌟 If you only had a year left to live - how would you spend it?
🌟 Since you do not actually know how much time you have left, what should you do?
🌟 In ten years’ time, what will be most important to me?
🌟 What are you doing for others? Thinking of others can help yourself just as much.
🌟 What is something you MUST do, no matter how challenging? Don't ignore what comes up - it may just change your life.
Finally - ask yourself - Who do I need to become to do what I want to do?
