Tips for a Kick Ass Mindset

“I came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass and I am all out of bubblegum!”

— Roddy Piper, Canadian WWF wrestler & actor

I view each day as an opportunity to wake up, stretch, eat healthy and focus on getting 1% better and I think that’s the mindset needed in order to kick ass in life - what about you?

  • I’m sure there are other sparkly nuggets but those are my top ones for today!

  • I also believe that if you are not taking advantage of your time here on our beautiful planet, then you are losing precious opportunities to get to where you want to go in life

  • I don’t think we really think about this but the decisions we make today will impact our lives 5 or 10 years down the road and our actions and in-actions directly correlate with our mindset - don’t worry you can always improve your mindset and like most things in life it is worth working on every damn day

  • Here are a few ‘rebel rules’ to help you kick ass:

    • Life is short - avoid negative people at all costs! Ditch the energy vampires and hold on to the sunshine souls. You have the power to eliminate the negative

    • Go for what you want - don’t listen to other people, do not let others limit your abilities or opportunities - listen to your voice and do what you feel is right, what you want - if you want to kick ass then kick ass and screw the naysayers!

    • Mistakes or failure is never the end - your story will keep going so what will you write? Failure and setbacks are all part of this crazy life so instead of quitting see it as an opportunity to take accountability and grow. Keep going!

    • Earn, save & invest before you spend, spend, spend - become educated and understand the complexities around money, your money mindset and the psychology of spending. Cary zero debt if you can, have emergency savings, invest in retirement savings funds - it may feel like a sacrifice now but it will save you down the road!

    • Do not compare yourself to others - don’t live your life in a rear view window and don’t forget that it is your unique soul that matters in this world so instead challenge yourself to be 1% better each and every day!
